Are you a Licensed Body Shop Technician looking to take the next step in your career? If so, we have a new challenge for you! We have two growing collision centres within our organization and are looking to appoint a Licensed Body Shop Technician full time at our Marigold Ford Lincoln location in Whitby, with back up support at our Ontario Motor Sales Chevrolet Cadillac location in Oshawa.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with two well established dealerships in the Durham Region.
Key responsibilities:
- - Performing structural and complete body repairs
- - Inspect vehicles according to requirements and ensure all repairs are complete
- - Maintain a working knowledge of current industry practices in automotive repair
- - Ensure all required parts and materials are ordered
- - Keep the shop area neat and clean at all times
- - Work as a team to ensure work orders are completed on time
- - Ensure that customer cars are kept clean (both inside and out)
- - Understand and follow federal, provincial, and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
What you will need to succeed:
- - Auto body collision experience
- - Experience with insurance collision repair and pre-owned vehicle reconditioning work
- - Valid "G" licence and clean driver's abstract
- - Customer focused
- - Must be team oriented, hardworking and have a positive attitude
- - Able to work in a shop environment
- - Attention to detail and quality is a must
- - Auto bodyTechnician, fully licensed (310B)
