This is a permanent, full-time position. The Financial Services Manager will be sales motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit. You will be responsible for the completion of sales contracts, the financing of deals and the sales of aftermarket products, including insurance, extended warranty, accessories, etc. You will have an engaging personality and are able to interact easily with different clients to deliver sales outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promote and sell products including vehicles warranties, insurance, and protection packages.

  • Deliver an exceptional customer service experience on all transactions

  • Establish and maintain strong and professional working relationships with finance companies, banks, manufacture financing Centre and suppliers

  • Ensure pricing for products and services are competitive and reasonable

  • Continually work with our sales team to develop their awareness of aftermarket products and services offered by the financial service team

  • Maintain a current knowledge of manufacturer-specific vehicles and manufacturer-specific rebates, finance, and incentive programs.

  • Help management plan growth and sales target for the financial services department

  • Prepare all documentation required for registration, contracts, funding etc. in a timely fashion

  • Maintain updated reports as required by the dealership

  • Attend and complete training and development courses as required

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • A minimum of 2 years of F&I experience

  • Energy and Enthusiasm

  • Ability to handle high pressure situations

  • A commitment to unbelievable customer service

  • Valid OMVIC License

  • Valid Driver's License

As the Parts Manager at Marigold Ford Lincoln, you will ensure the availability of parts in a cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest standards of customer service, both to internal and external customers. Scheduling to ensuring adequate shift coverage, supervising staff, overseeing inventory, and providing training & mentoring. ABOUT THE ROLE:

Responsibilities of a Parts Manager role include:

  • Ensure the profitability of the parts operation; generate revenue through retail, internal, and wholesale sales of vehicle parts
  • Establish department objectives and pursue them through planning, organizing, controlling, and measuring performance
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and feedback to help staff members strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for optimized sales
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures and key performance goals
  • Work with the Service and Sales departments to maximize cross-marketing opportunities
  • Monitor current customer base and recommend strategies to attain more clients and ensure an optimal level of customer satisfaction
  • Order parts that meet the cost and quality standards of the dealership, and vehicle manufacturers; source new suppliers that are cost-effective and quality parts
  • Plan promotions on parts; design various merchandising strategies and monitor inventory of all physical parts and oversee all return processes for parts
  • Manage processing and administration of parts back-orders and return-to-vendor items
  • Manage inventory levels and inventory cycle counts; leverage the inventory control systems to record and track auto part sales and auto repair work

ABOUT YOU:

You thrive in a fast-paced environment. You take pride in providing exceptional service to both external and internal customers and always acting with integrity. You have the following qualifications:

  • 5 plus years of proven experience as a Dealership Parts Manager an automotive dealership
  • Post-Secondary diploma or degree in related studies or equivalent education plus experience
  • Experience and strong working relationship with inter-departmental managers
  • Proven track record for setting and achieving performance goals.
  • Strong understanding of Parts principles, methods, practices, and techniques
  • Skilled at providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word), advanced parts systems.
  • Dealer related systems experience
  • Highly effective communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to work with customers, colleagues and numerous outside suppliers and stakeholders
  • Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Valid Ontario G Driver's License

Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for customer retention and profitability by hiring, training, and measuring the performance of service staff and establishing customer focused service standards. The position is also responsible for ensuring that the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.

You will be working along side our current Service Manager over the next few months to ensure a smooth transition.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish and maintain great relationships with customers and to exceed their expectations.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with vocational and technical schools to enhance and grow recruitment activities.
  • Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
  • Maintain a culture that values excellent customer service through effective training, supervision, coaching and performance management.
  • Develop and implement a long-term strategy and action plan to attract and retain customers.
  • Handle customer complaints promptly, according to dealership guidelines.

  • Post Secondary Education in relevant field of study.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.

  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Highly self motivated and directed.
  • Must be willing to be flexible with work schedules.
  • Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Proficient in a multitude of computer systems and automotive dealership systems
  • Have a data-backed approach to making sound business decisions to enhance the department.
